Windows 7 isn't just about working better and faster, it's also about having fun. There are some great features and software included with Windows 7 to help you enjoy your free time.
Gadgets
Gadgets were introduced with Windows Vista®. They are simple little programs that carry out specific functions, or display information pulled in from the web. There are thousands of gadgets from clocks, to weather, to news, to games. Whatever your interest you'll find a gadget for it.
- Click Start and type Gadgets into the search box. Select 'Desktop Gadgets' from the list of results.
- You'll see a list of pre-installed Gadgets that you can use, or click the 'Get more gadgets online' link to see the full range of gadgets you can download and use.
Games
Windows 7 features a range of addictive games to help you wind down during your coffee break. There are the classics such as Solitaire and Mine Sweeper along with newer games of Chess and Mah-jong.
- Click Start then click Games to view the list of Windows games.
